The mission of the National Runaway Switchboard is to keep America's runaway and at-risk youth safe and off the streets. The National Runaway Switchboard handles over 100,000 calls annually from at-risk youth and families across the country.
Description:
National Runaway Switchboard is a 24-hour national hotline for youth ages 12-21 and their families. NRS provides crisis intervention, information and referral, message delivery and conferencing services. Whether it is food, shelter, counseling, medical or legal help, or a ticket home, the National Runaway Switchboard can help. Also available to the hearing impaired at 800-621-0394 (TDD). NRS also has many types of materials available free of charge on our website or by sending an email to info@1800runaway.org.
