Overall Experience
Musical Christmas Program
 |
My family put on a Christmas Program for the residents as well as reading and acting out the Christmas Story with the residents. I played a musical number on the violin, and one of the wanted to play my violin too because he hadn't for so many years. He was about 90 years old and didn't remember much, but treasued the time of holding it and playing the strings. It was neat to see how small things really make a difference in someones life. posted by stalbot on January 17, 2006 |

Making friends
 |
We had a group activity at the Eastlake Care Center. We were supposed to be playing bingo, but we ended up just visiting different residents and chatting. I really enjoyed my time and made new friends. posted on October 28, 2005 |
