Girl Scouts was integrated before the civil rights movement and international before the United Nations. We had a conservation program before Earth Day; hiked in the wilderness before women wore trousers, sang folk songs before Peter, Paul, and Mary, and empowered girls and women to find their voices before women could vote. Girl Scouts of Utah is the statewide organization committed to helping Utah's Girls Grow Strong. Every adult who shares this dream is welcome to join.

History:
In 1920 a group of volunteers began the Girl Scout Program in Ogden, Utah, with Salt Lake City troops registering in 1921. By 1961 a number of regional councils within Utah became incorporated as one statewide council, Girl Scouts of Utah. Our jurisdiction covers all of Utah plus Wendover, Nevada. Girl Scouts of Utah impacts the lives of almost 10,000 girls (grades k-12) with help from more than 3,500 dedicated adult volunteers. Our council is chartered by GSUSA, the largest voluntary organization for girls in the world.

Take the Lindon Exit from I-15 and then head north until State Street. Take a right at the State Street Stoplight and then your first right into the Albertson's parking lot. We are located on the east side of the parking lot.
