History:
Our agency was created by a resolution of the Utah County Commissioners in December 1973. Sometimes we are inaccurately identified as a department of County Government. More accurately, we are considered a political subdivision of the State of Utah. Most of our funding comes from the Department of Housing and Urban Development or the Department of Energy.
