Kids Who Count believes that all children deserve the right to grow in a nurturing environment. Our mission is to provide family services and support to enhance the development of children with special needs.
Description:
Kids Who Count serves children under age 3 with developmental delays or disabilities and their families within the Nebo School District. Eligibility is determined by a full developmental evaluation at no cost. Services are provided wherever a child spends her/his day. This may be in the home, at daycare, or at grandma's house. Kids Who Count offers center based services based on the individualized needs of the child and family. Parents will learn how best to help their baby or toddler grow and learn.
History:
Kids Who Count was started in 1986 in an effort to help meet the needs of families with very young children with special needs. It is funded by the Baby Watch Early Intervention Program, Utah Department of Health. Kids Who Count works closely with community agencies to provide comprehensive family services.
