What's New

In September 2008, Project Read hosted its second annual Spelling Bee. Last year's champs, the Marians, came in second, coming in closely behind the 2009 winners, Dream Team Deleyne! Please join us this year for our 3rd year of spelling fun.

Overall Experience

My student, my friend
 |
I loved being a tutor! Some days I felt like my "student" taught me more than I taught her. She was amazing and it was wonderful to watch her realize that she could write without being embarrassed and that she really did have a lot of skills to share. I would definitely recommend this volunteer opportunity. posted by kpratt on October 28, 2005 |
