We strengthen Hispanic families through celebrating Latino culture and pride in their family heritage.
Description:
Stepping Stones for Families hosts a program called "Conexiones" fiesta 3 times every month from 6:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Come join us for a free family night for Hispanic families where we offer holiday and Latino arts and crafts, cultural awareness, food, games and educational materials. We need Spanish-speaking volunteers to help with the various activities from October through May. By emailing at Conexionesfiesta@juno.com, volunteers can ask about the upcoming fiesta dates and sign up.

This volunteer opportunity was so fun that it hardly felt like volunteering! I played with kids and chatted with parents. All around were people enjoying being together. Good times.
