Description:
It's mission is to improve, enhance, and positively impact the well-being, recovery, and quality of life of individuals who experience mental illness or a behavioral disability. Wasatch Mental Health also provides community education and information services to combat ignorance and stigma associated with mental illness, and champion an awareness of the reality, commonality, and effectiveness of treatment for these disorders.
History:

It began in the 1960's and became a formal community Community Health Center in 1967, as an extension and outgrowth of services provided at the Utah State Hospital. The Center operates on a budget of approximately $19 million with a staff of over 300 dedicated and trained individuals, providing a comprehensive array of services in over 40 locations.
