Overall Experience
Yoga to teenagers?
 |
I taught yoga once a week for 4-5 months at Observation and Accessment. It was crazy, fun, frustrating, and very rewarding. Some days there was a lot of immediate reward where kids love what we did and said how awesome it was. Other days they moaned and groaned the whole time. When I saw one of the kids after he got out walking down the street, he shouted "Yoga Lady". He promised me I would never see him at Juvie again, I knew it had all been worth it. posted by kpratt on March 23, 2007 |
