Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is a donor and volunteer supported organization proven to help children succeed through one to one relationships.

Description:
The success of our program is because of the individual attention each child receives from a caring, positive role model who opens up their world to new and exciting possibilities.
Our professional staff carefully recruit, screen and match a caring adult mentor with an a child in the community and support the relationship from it's beginning through successful completion.
Volunteers (Bigs) meet with their mentees (Littles) a few hours a couple of times a month. We have two types of programs, our Community and Site based programs. Currently in Utah County we work with Fox Hollow & Grove Crest Elementary in which Bigs meet with their Little on school grounds.

History:
Since 1978 we have been serving children throughout the state of Utah. In 2009, we served 1,862 statewide with a goal of serving 1,900 children in 2010.
