The mission of the Celebration of Health Foundation is to develop charitable support for health related programs and initiatives in harmony with Intermountain Health Care (IHC) services in Utah County, which improve the quality of life for the residents of the communities we serve.

As not-for-profit organizations, Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Orem Community Hospital and American Fork Hospital are committed to providing excellent care to those with a medical need, regardless of their ability to pay. By providing financial and in-kind contributions to support these local healthcare facilities, the Celebration of Health Foundation is helping to maintain each hospital's tradition of providing excellent health care service at the lowest possible cost to patients. Through the caring and generous gifts of individuals, families, local businesses and organizations, the Foundation is truly improving patient care in our local IHC hospitals and the health and well-being of those living in our communities.

History:
The Celebration of Health Foundation was established in 1984 as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided millions of dollars toward the purchase of medical equipment, construction and renovation of hospital facilities, sponsorship of educational programs and support of health services.

Donations to the Foundation are used for a variety of initiatives and activities that benefit the Utah Valley community. From a new Pediatric Rehabilitation Center serving children with disabilities to emergency response systems for the elderly. From flu vaccinations for homeless individuals to innovative and lifesaving respiratory care equipment for premature infants. From an interfaith chapel at UVRMC to health and safety education for elementary school children. From the purchase of ultrasound equipment for Orem Community Hospital to construction of the Family Guest House, a home-away-from-home for patients and families of those receiving medical treatment. Through all of that and much more, the Foundation is making a difference.
