A Child's Hope Foundation provides orphaned children in developing countries a healthy, caring environment while seeking a loving family for them.
Description:
Creates New and Supports Existing Adoption Orphanages
- Obtaining guardianship of orphaned and abandoned children is the best way to ensure healthy living conditions and their emotional well being; securing a healthy environment, consistent medical care, nutritious food, clean water, abundant caretakers, and love.
Reduces Costs and Time Frames related to Adoption
- Increasing the number of adoptions by reducing costs to adoptive couples and providing them with loans, working at the highest levels of government, and building efficiency into the processes.
Promotes and Facilitates the Placement of Parentless Children into Families
- Partnering with low-cost, internationally licensed, and reliable adoption agencies to place our children into loving homes, whether internationally or in the country of the children's birth.
Coordinates and Supplies needed Resources
- Creating and expanding partnerships among volunteers, donors, medical professionals, government agencies, villagers, adoption agencies, and like minded NGOs; working together to serve children at our orphanages as well as other orphanages throughout the world.
Awakens the Spirits of everyone involved
- Providing opportunities for personal growth in all involved - those we serve and those who serve with us.
History:
Saving Lives and Building Families - What has been accomplished to date (December 30, 2005)
- Finished a beautiful 14,000 sq. ft. facility in Haiti that serves as an adoption center – including a 16 bed volunteer wing and a wing for a school/clinic
- 13 children have been adopted from our adoption orphanage in Haiti
- 366 volunteers have made a total of 449 individual trips the past three years to work in Haiti
- 18,774 estimated hours provided by work project volunteers working on the facility in Haiti
- 85 weeks to date donated by volunteer child caregivers
- Thousands of hours contributed by local volunteers creating (sewing diapers, blankets, sheets, clothing, etc.), collecting, sorting, and packing donations of various kinds
- Donated supplies to over 100 orphanages and communities in Bulgaria, China, Mongolia, Ukraine, Peru, and Haiti
