| Last updated on July 31, 2008 |
CSHSN doctors and other health care professionals provide services for children with physical and/or developmental concerns or disabilities. They do not take the place of a child's regular physician.
Description:
Children with the following concerns/conditions are evaluated during a CSHCN clinic visit: ADD/ADHD, hearing/speech development, nutrition, autism/aspergers, developmental delay, orthopedic defects, learning/behavior problems. Those with cleft lip/palate, congenital heart defects, seizure disorders, genetic defects or muscular disorders, may be referred to PCMC. Families are billed according to their income. Whenever possible, Medicaid and health insurance will be billed. CSHCN can also assist families with access to Medicaid and SSI programs.
