Applegate HomeCare & Hospice is in need of about 7-8 volunteers who would be willing to visit with terminally ill patients at least 1-3 times a month. For the most part,it is very flexible. Having been a volunteer myself at one point, I can truthfully say that visiting with these patients who are so close to dying has afforded me some of the most sentimental and rewarding experiences of my life.

Volunteers will be required to complete 8 hours of training and 4 hours of shadowing. Volunteers should have access to a car.
