Volunteer tutors are the life-blood of Family Literacy Centers, Inc. There are literacy centers throughout the county and tutors are needed in all communities. Tutors work one-on-one with students of all ages to help them improve their reading and writing skills. Please contact Edward Green. Volunteers commit to spend one hour, twice a week with their student. They also coordinate the student's learning with the student's family. Although this is the requirement, some dedicated volunteers choose to tutor multiple students.
Volunteers receive training from Family Literacy Centers, Inc. This training provides training that helps volunteers become effective tutors. This opportunity is sponsored by: Family Literacy Centers Inc.
