The Arc of Utah has a variety of volunteer opportunities.

Empower Ed: These are classes that are held twice weekly on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 4pm to 5:30pm.The students are all intellectually disabled adults. They enjoy crafts, cooking and theater.
Respite Pool: If you are interested helping a family with respite. Please go to our web site and apply. A representative of the Arc will notify you of any opportunities.
Clothing Drives: If you would like to set up a clothing drive please call the Arc of Utah at 801-364-5060 ex 10.
Holiday Box: Every year at Christmas time the Arc raises funds to purchase presents for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Last year (07) we were able to cover 500 people. A lot of these individuals have no families and are living in rest homes.There is a lot of work to be done buying gifts, gift wrapping and etc.It can be frantic and hard work but very worthwhile.

All our volunteers must love and respect our population. Do to the sensitivity of our population a back ground check maybe conducted.
