Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Equity in Education Center at Utah Valley University is pleased to announce the Empowering Your Tomorrow Conference for 6th-12th grade boys. This conference is designed to introduce boys to exciting educational and career opportunities available to them. This conference is being held on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 7am-1:30pm. We are in need of volunteers prior to the conference to help find presenters and sponsorships, stuff packets and more. On the day of the conference, we will need volunteers to help with registrations, guide presenters and conference participants to their classrooms, assist with the set-up and take-down of the interactive booths and hand out lunches and t-shirts. We will begin at 6:00am and go to approximately 3:00pm. You do not need to stay for the entire day, any time given is much appreciated. This a fun and exciting day for the boys and past volunteers have really enjoyed the experience of being a part of it!

We ask that volunteers be 18 years + and have transportation to the UVU campus.
