Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Volunteer Care Clinic serves members of Utah County who do not have health insurance and are below the poverty line established by the board. As a licensed pharmacist you will help families receive the full medical care they need to heal their acute conditions. You can help get medication to children like the child who came into the clinic with an ear infection. His family could not afford insurance because his father was in school and his mother could not work because his brother has kidney problems.
Only qualified, trained and certified professional pharmacists may volunteer in this position. A completed application is required. After a short interview, brief training and placement on the Volunteer Care Clinic's medical malpractice coverage you can begin volunteering. This process usually takes about 1-2 weeks.
This volunteer opportunity is available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5 P.M. until close. Volunteer pharmacists are asked to commit to at least 4 months of service.

Only qualified, trained and certified professional pharmacists may volunteer in this position. A completed application (see link below) is required. After a short interview and brief training you can begin volunteering.
