Medical Services to Uninsured Opportunities for Nursing/Health Students Neighbor to neighbor initiative

The Volunteer Care Clinic is always accepting health care professional volunteer applications. Health care professionals, such as:
Physician
Medical Assistant
Physician Assistant
Medical Residents
Pharmacist
Nurse Practitioner
Registered Nurse
Licensed Practical Nurse
Certified Nursing Assistant
Phlebotomist
can volunteer to help with patient care. Nursing students or other medical students certified in a variety of medical services assist in taking vitals and working with the office staff. Spanish speaking is extremely helpful when volunteering at the clinic.

Potential volunteers should contact the volunteer coordinator for the Volunteer Care Clinic to fill out an application (see link below). All volunteers need to fill out an application , provide a copy of their drivers license and medical license, provide current TB test results and have an interview with a clinic director. Training on Volunteer Care Clinic policies and procedures is required before beginning service at the Volunteer Care Clinic.
