The life of a child...
![]()
I have volunteered as the volunteer coordinator for the children's domestic violence group for a year and a half. I have seen these children at their best and at their worst. Just when I was ready to throw up my hands and give up, they would remind me of the difficulty of their lives and their amazing potential. It takes time for trust to grow, and those children little guess the love that I have come to have for them. I don't know if any of these children will look back and think I had an impact in their life, but I know they have changed mine.
