The Utah County Health Department (UCHD) Women's Cancer Clinic offers free and low cost breast exams, pap smears, and mammograms to all women who qualify.
It was estimated that in 2004, breast cancer would be diagnosed in nearly 1,080 women in Utah, with approximately 200 women dying from the disease. The best protection against breast cancer is to have regular screenings for early detection. The American Cancer Society recommends that women over 40 should have a yearly clinical breast exam and mammogram. |

If you are between the ages of 40-64, call the UCHD today to see if you qualify for a free mammogram. Women over 50 may also qualify for a $5 grocery coupon. |
