Rental assistance is a federal housing choice voucher program to help very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled afford decent, safe and sanitary housing. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own housing. Housing must be located in Utah County, outside of the city of Provo(for rental assistance inside Provo, please call the Provo City Housing Authority). |

Persons utilizing the Section 8 Housing program need to be United States citizens or residing legally in the USA. Also, household income must be within program guidelines:
1=$1,750
2=$2000
3=$2,250
4=$2,500
5=$2,700

| Intake Procedure: |

Apply for this program at the Housing Authority of Utah County. A photo id, Social Security card, and income verification is required for everyone in the household to be place on the waiting list. |
