| Description : |
|
PIC is Utah County's Early Childhood Council. It promotes a coordinated, collaborative system of early childhood care and education through partnerships, shared goals, and strategies to meet the needs of families with young children in Utah County.
Council members collaborate to identify needs of young children and their families, and then work to address those needs through existing programs. The council also seeks, receives and administers special grants to expand services for young children.
The council also educates the community about the variety of services and programs for young children and seeks to maximize the use of resources through shared planning and reduction in duplication of efforts. |
