Agency:  Safety Net Mentor Program
Program name: Mentoring for at-risk youth
Description : At-risk youth ages 6 to 18 are matched one on one with an adult mentor to spend time together each week. The mentor is a positive role model for the youth.
Hours of Operation: Office hours: Variable. Mentors and mentees meet each week on their own schedule.
Eligibility Requirements: Youth must be ages 6 to 18. Parents must sign a permission form for the youth to participate.
Intake Procedure: Youth can be referred by parents, teachers or even themselves. Contact is made with the program director, parent permission must be filled out before the youth will be matched with a mentor.
