General Information
Agency:  Vantage Point Youth Service Center
Program name: Youth Services
Description : Vantage point runs a crisis shelter for runaway and ungovernable youth. Crisis counseling, individual & family therapy for up to 60 days also provided. Also offered are parent/adolescent issues group, anger management group, and substance abuse prevention/early intervention group. They also receive youth to stay for a limited time from the police who have no other place to go.
Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Eligibility Requirements: Parent/child conflict or troubled youth ages 12-18
Intake Procedure: Takes about 30 minutes.
Insurance Information: There is not cost to families. If family has Medicaid, they (Medicaid) will be billed for applicable services. BUT NO insurance is required, Medicaid or any other, and families will not be billed for services.
