Foundations for Independence provides services to children and adults. It is the belief of the Board of Directors and staff at UCP that individuals have the right to develop emotionally, intellectually, physically, recreatively, socially, and vocationally to their fullest potential. United Cerebral Palsy serves individuals of any age, race, color, national or ethnic origin, or developmental disability. Our services are not limited to individuals with cerebral palsy. Most of our program participants do not have cerebral palsy. UCP of Utah has several programs in place to support these beliefs. These programs are; family support, information and referral, NewFoundations Program, adult independent living, day training, peer support group, respite care, technology assessments, equipment library and equipment purchase assistance
