The Mountainland Regional Learning Center is located at the Mountainland Applied Technology College (Orem Campus), Room 103. The Lab is a computer-assisted basic skills program where students build and/or improve their Reading, Math, and English skills. Pre-assessments, which are required before first-time entry, are available at no charge at the MATC Testing Services by calling 801-863-MATC for an appointment. The Lab is geared towards the individual student and is self-paced. Teachers are available to assist students at all times. The program also helps students wanting to enter vocational education programs or to bypass remedial classes at UVSC. The Lab maintains an open-entry/open-exit format, allowing students to work at their own pace. |
