Program name: Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP)
Description : CACFP is a federally funded program designed to offer aid to eligible day care homes to provide nutritious meals to children 12 and under. There are various sponsoring organizations throughout the state with which the daycare provider can receive assistance.
Hours of Operation: 8 am - 5 pm, M-F
Eligibility Requirements: State licensed and/or Certified Home Day Care and Relative Care. Financial need can be based either on the day care provider's income or the income of the families receiving day care. Providers must attend a food program training at least once a year.
