Description : Assistance to qualified patrons to resolve IRS problems. Clients must have an actual dispute, we do not prepare taxes.

Workshops on tax rights and responsibilities covering topics such as: what an ITIN is and how to get one; W-7, W-4, and W-2 forms; cash payments & Form 1099 (Self-employed); dependent exemptions; options for tax preparation; a warning about “Instant Refund” promotions; and what to do if you receive an IRS letter.
Hours of Operation: 11 am - 6 pm, T & Th; 10 am - 2 pm, Last Sat of month; by appointment, W
Eligibility Requirements: Eligibility for workshops is unrestricted and can be done at any location for groups of 20 people or more. To receive assistance in resolving IRS problems or disputes, clients must be low-income.
Intake Procedure: Call Centro Hispano at 655-0258 to set up an appointment or find out a schedule of workshops.
