Description : 2-1-1 is a free, easy-to-remember telephone number that connects people with important local community services and volunteer opportunities.

Utah County 2-1-1 publishes the Community Resource Directory, refers individuals to human services, provides one page Community Resources, publishes the Connections newsletter, facilitates the Connections Council meetings and inter-agency tours, and provides current information on community resources.

United Way of Utah County 2-1-1 also provides information about current volunteer opportunities, recruits sponsor families for the Sub-for-Santa program, manages a Gifts-in-Kind clearinghouse for donations, and provides training for volunteer managers.
